MC
Chris Robinson is one of the premier comics in Canada. In 2016 he was the runner-up at the prestigious homegrown competition at Just For Laughs in Montreal. Later that year he was crowned Sirius XM's Top Comic. A win that granted him $25,000--and a return to Just For Laughs Montreal, an appearance at JFL Northwest in Vancouver and his solo show at JFL42 in 2017. Chris is a working actor on Netflix, Amazon, CMT, and various TV and internet commercials. Now Magazine has described him as having "charisma and raw talent to burn." Catch this rising star live and you will not be disappointed.
MIDDLE ACT
Laura Leibow has used her acerbic wit and laid back style to become a promising fresh face on the Canadian stand-up comedy scene. She is the editor of the comedy website "UNoriginal", a signed Yuk Yuk’s comedian, and is frequently played on SiriusXM. Laura has performed at JFL42, She-Devil Comedy Festival, the Sacramento Comedy Festival, and Icebreakers Comedy Festival. Laura has been impressing crowds in clubs and theatres from Toronto to New York since debuting in 2015, and has performed at legendary clubs like the Improv in LA, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club in NYC, and Helium in Buffalo. In January 2019, Laura and her sister launched a successful podcast called “Family Therapy” which attempts to show that the dark and comedic sides of mental illness are not mutually exclusive.
FEATURE ACT
Jeff McEnery won the prestigious "Tim Sims Encouragement Award" in 2005, "Yuk Yuk's Great Canadian Laugh Off" in 2006 and was named “Best Stand-Up Newcomer” at the 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards. Since then, Jeff has become a headliner for Yuk Yuk’s and has made multiple appearances at every major Canadian comedy festival including the Just For Laughs, Winnipeg, and Halifax. Jeff's Comedy Now! stand-up special was broadcast on CTV in 2011. In 2015, he was nominated for 'Best Male Stand-Up' at the Canadian Comedy Awards.
Jeff had a lead acting role in the critically acclaimed drama "Dog Pound". He was also a cast member on the Comedy Network’s sketch series "Hotbox" and has made guest appearances on "Letterkenny", "Covert Affairs", "The Jon Dore Television Show" and "Naturally Sadie". Jeff is currently a writer for the CBC's hit show "Still Standing".
